WOT BAGS Bartender Handlebar Bag | An Ultralight Handlebar Bag Built for Strength and Practical Use
From everyday rides to longer adventures.
The WOT BAGS Bartender Handlebar Bag is a lightweight and highly durable bicycle bag made from ULTRA EPL400, one of the most advanced technical fabrics used in modern ultralight equipment.
Each bag is handmade in Wakayama, Japan, by Dean, an experienced adventure cyclist and the founder of WOT BAGS.
Its construction reflects practical knowledge gained through real-world cycling, touring, and bikepacking.
The main body is made from Challenge Sailcloth ULTRA EPL400.
Rather than using the lighter EPL200, EPL400 was deliberately selected for its increased abrasion resistance, tear strength, structural firmness, and ease of use as a bag.
The material remains lightweight while providing enough stiffness to hold its shape, making the contents easier to pack, organize, and access.
The upper section is designed with very little seam allowance and as few stitched areas as possible.
By reducing potential entry points for water, the construction takes full advantage of the fabric’s excellent water resistance and provides practical protection from rain, splashes, and mud.
The bag offers two different closing styles.
The roll-top closure provides a secure and compact method of carrying equipment during longer rides and rougher conditions.
For quicker access, the opening can also be hooked near the stem, allowing frequently used items to be reached without fully rolling and fastening the top.
Its narrow width makes it particularly suitable for drop handlebars, where available space is often limited.
Instead of expanding sideways, the bag can extend vertically, allowing additional equipment to be carried without unnecessarily occupying the space around the brake and shift controls.
A shock cord and daisy chain are positioned underneath the bag.
These attachment points can be used to carry gloves, a wind shell, food, or other items that need to remain easily accessible outside the main compartment.
Inside, two organizer pockets and a hook strap help keep keys and smaller items secure and easy to find.
Two approximately 22cm VOILE Nano Straps are included for firmly attaching the bag to the handlebars and reducing movement while riding.
