A short-sleeve merino wool T-shirt combining New Zealand wool with recycled polyester for comfort, durability, and everyday versatility.
The HIKER TRASH Enter the Wilderness “MERINO S/S TEE” was developed from the perspective of hikers who spend long days moving through the outdoors.
The fabric is made with 86% New Zealand wool. A recycled polyester core runs through the wool fibers, helping retain the soft feel, moisture management, and temperature-regulating properties of merino wool while improving durability and shape recovery.
Merino wool helps reduce lingering moisture and odor after sweating, making the shirt suitable for warm weather and environments with changing temperatures. The fabric also provides the stretch needed for hiking and extended periods of movement.
A small hole near the hem can be used with a carabiner, allowing the shirt to be hung for drying when wet. This practical detail reflects the experience of long-distance hikers.
The chest features a pocket named the “Don't think, hike. Pocket.” The shirt has also been field-tested on long-distance trails and in backcountry environments.
Designed to move naturally between the trail and everyday life, it can be worn under a backpack, during a neighborhood walk, or as a comfortable daily T-shirt.
