VELOCITY BLUNT SS COLOR ANODIZED | A Lightweight, Strong Rim for Modern XC
Lightweight, durable, and finished in distinctive anodized colors, this tubeless-ready rim is designed for everything from gravel riding to XC trails.
The VELOCITY BLUNT SS is a disc-specific rim developed to balance low weight with dependable stiffness. Its 30 mm width is well suited to 45–65 mm tires, providing a stable platform for gravel riding, cross-country use, and rougher off-road routes.
An updated bead hook and bead seat profile improve tire retention when used with a tubeless setup. This helps maintain stability at lower tire pressures while supporting confident traction and control over uneven surfaces.
Short, reinforced sidewalls add durability, while the spoke bed is designed to withstand high spoke tension. At approximately 395 g in the 27.5-inch size, the BLUNT SS remains light enough for responsive acceleration and climbing without sacrificing the strength required for trail use.
The COLOR ANODIZED version adds a distinctive anodized finish, making it a strong choice for riders who want both practical performance and a more individual wheel build.
