OWL MILS Takehaya | All-Weather Sunglasses with Polarized High-Contrast MILS LENS
Lightweight sunglasses designed to maintain clear, natural visibility across bright sunlight, overcast skies, and reflective snowy conditions.
The OWL MILS Takehaya features the brand’s original MILS LENS, combining polarization with high-contrast performance.
The polarized lens helps reduce glare and reflected light, while the high-contrast design makes road surfaces, terrain, and natural colors easier to distinguish. Its Purple Gray tint retains useful brightness, making the sunglasses suitable for a wide range of conditions, including sunny, cloudy, and snowy environments.
A multi-coating is applied to both sides of the lens to reduce reflections. The lens offers approximately 99% UV protection, approximately 80% blue-light reduction, and a polarization efficiency of approximately 94%.
The frame is made from lightweight and durable TR nylon. At approximately 24g, Takehaya is designed for extended wear during cycling, hiking, fishing, and other active outdoor use.
The ends of the temples feature a carabiner-style design, allowing the included Dyneema glass cord to be attached or removed easily. This makes the sunglasses convenient to carry around the neck when they are not being worn.
A drawstring pouch that also functions as a lens-cleaning cloth is included. The understated design works naturally in both outdoor and everyday settings.
