A simple 13?19L backpack combining the lightweight character of the BIG TURTLE with durable SPECTRA Ripstop Nylon.
The Trail Bum BIG TURTLE SPECTRA is a material-upgraded version of one of the brand’s signature backpacks.
It retains the streamlined, drawstring-pack-inspired construction and close-fitting carry of the original BIG TURTLE while adding the abrasion and impact resistance of SPECTRA Ripstop Nylon. With a capacity of 13?19L and a weight of approximately 290g, it works well for daily use, cycling, day hikes, hut trips, and lightweight overnight adventures.
The slim body has minimal depth and can be pulled close to the back by tightening the shoulder harness. This helps reduce movement even when carrying a smaller load.
Wide shoulder straps distribute weight across a larger surface area. Their thin and flexible construction follows the shape of the body while keeping overall weight to a minimum.
A large front mesh pocket provides accessible storage for rain gear, water bottles, a headlamp, first-aid supplies, snacks, and other frequently used items.
The single-pull strap helps stabilize the load, while the chest-strap buckle includes an emergency whistle.
