Trail Bum CT TARP | A Lightweight Square Tarp for Versatile Trail Setups

Lightweight and adaptable, this reliable shelter is designed for solo travel on the trail.

The Trail Bum CT TARP is a lightweight square tarp developed through field testing on the Colorado Trail. Weighing just 320g, it provides a practical balance of coverage, packability, and setup flexibility.

Its 280 × 200cm dimensions are easy to manage for solo hikers. It can be pitched as a standalone tarp shelter or paired with a hammock, allowing you to adapt the setup to changing terrain and weather conditions.

The tarp is made from silpoly, a polyester fabric that is less prone to stretching from UV exposure and moisture absorption. Bungee cords are built into all four edges to help reduce sag as conditions change.

With 12 tie-out loops positioned around the tarp, the CT TARP supports a wide variety of pitching configurations. It is a versatile option for solo hiking, hammock camping, and lightweight camping trips.
