NITTO for shred bar | A Modern Riser Bar for Street and Trail Riding
A carefully balanced rise and sweep designed for confident control across a variety of bike builds.
The NITTO for shred bar is a Japanese-made riser handlebar developed for everything from street riding to trail use.
“Shred” is a cycling slang term associated with riding trails or streets with energy and freedom. True to its name, this handlebar is designed for riders who enjoy actively controlling their bike, whether on an MTB, fixed-gear bike, or commuter build.
Its geometry combines a 25 mm rise with 6° of upsweep and 3° of backsweep. This balanced shape creates a natural hand position and supports controlled handling while pedaling out of the saddle.
The bar is made from heat-treated aluminum with a high level of strength within the NITTO range. A simple stamped NITTO logo gives it a clean, minimal appearance that works well with both modern MTBs and neo-classic custom bikes.
Two widths are available. The 650 mm version creates a compact profile suited to fixed-gear and commuter bikes, while the 750 mm version provides a wider platform for MTBs and ATBs. The 750 mm model also features cutting guides in 10 mm increments for width adjustment.
