NITTO × BLUE LUG Hi-bar (steel gray) | A Modern Riser Bar with Vintage ATB Character
Inspired by a vintage WALD handlebar and rebuilt by NITTO for modern bikes, the Hi-bar offers a relaxed position without sacrificing confident control.
The NITTO × BLUE LUG Hi-bar is a special-edition riser bar designed to balance comfortable positioning with capable handling on city streets and unpaved roads.
Its shape was inspired by a vintage WALD riser bar discovered in a parts yard. BLUE LUG retained the distinctive silhouette and relaxed riding character, while NITTO redesigned it with specifications suited to modern bicycle builds.
The 720mm width and 100mm rise make it easier to create a natural, more upright riding position. Its combination of backsweep and upsweep provides a relaxed feel around town while maintaining useful control on gravel roads and other uneven surfaces.
Made from heat-treated aluminum, the Hi-bar combines vintage-inspired styling with modern construction.
The exclusive steel gray finish sits between traditional black and silver. It pairs naturally with either silver or black components and suits a wide range of builds, including vintage MTBs, ATBs, commuters, and gravel bikes.
