MKS SYLVAN GORDITO | A Wide-Platform Pedal for Comfortable Everyday Riding
A reassuring platform with extra room underfoot, made for city rides and touring.
The MKS SYLVAN series has remained a long-standing choice for riders who appreciate classic styling and dependable construction. SYLVAN GORDITO retains that familiar appearance while extending the platform from front to back for a more supportive feel.
The name "Gordito" means "chubby" in Spanish. While maintaining the same 94mm width as the SYLVAN Touring, the platform has been extended to 85mm in length. This wide W94 × L85mm surface supports more of the foot and provides stable contact when riding in sneakers.
The larger platform is suitable for relaxed city rides as well as touring with loaded bags. By spreading pressure across a wider area of the foot, it supports steady and comfortable pedaling over longer distances.
Traditional cup-and-cone ball bearings provide smooth rotation and can be disassembled, adjusted, and maintained. Replacement parts, including side plates and mounting screws, are also available for continued use.
Anodized aluminum side plates give the pedal its classic SYLVAN appearance, pairing naturally with touring bikes, steel bikes, and everyday commuters.
