GROWTAC EQUAL Flat Mount Full Set | Lightweight Mechanical Disc Brakes with Hydraulic-Like Power

A Japanese-made mechanical disc brake system combining low weight, strong braking performance, and detailed adjustment without the maintenance requirements of hydraulics.

The GROWTAC EQUAL Flat Mount model was developed to challenge the idea that mechanical disc brakes must compromise on braking power.

Each precision-machined super duralumin caliper weighs approximately 136 g with the brake pad installed. GROWTAC's vertical-axis cam mechanism, dedicated cable system, and low-friction components work together to provide a light lever action and braking performance that approaches a hydraulic system.

An integrated brake-feel adjustment system allows the response and lever feel to be tuned according to rider weight, riding conditions, and personal preference.

The clearance of the left and right pads can also be adjusted independently and continuously. This makes it easier to align the pads with the rotor and perform routine maintenance or pad replacement.

Because the system uses cables instead of hydraulic hoses, it requires no bleeding and is easier to service while traveling. It is suitable for road, cyclocross, gravel, and lightweight hill-climb builds.
