GROWTAC EQUAL Post Mount Full Set | Adjustable Mechanical Disc Brakes with Strong Braking Power

A Japanese-made post mount brake system combining easy cable maintenance, light lever action, and braking performance that approaches a hydraulic system.

The GROWTAC EQUAL Post Mount model was developed to overcome the traditional limitations associated with mechanical disc brakes.

Its precision-machined super duralumin calipers use GROWTAC's vertical-axis cam mechanism together with a dedicated cable system. This combination maintains the straightforward construction of a cable-operated brake while delivering light lever action and strong, controllable braking power.

An integrated brake-feel adjustment system allows the response and lever feel to be tuned according to rider weight, riding conditions, and personal preference.

The clearance of the left and right pads can also be adjusted independently and continuously. This makes rotor alignment, routine adjustment, and brake pad replacement easier to manage.

With no hydraulic hoses or bleeding procedure required, the system is practical to service during train-assisted cycling trips or tours. It is suitable for upgrading road, cyclocross, and gravel bikes equipped with post mount brake fittings.
