GROWTAC EQUAL Full Set / KASHIMA COAT Version | A Refined Mechanical Disc Brake System

Ultralight construction, strong braking performance, and smooth operation maintained by the KASHIMA COAT finish.

GROWTAC developed the EQUAL disc brake caliper to challenge the conventional limitations associated with mechanical disc brakes.

The precision-machined super duralumin caliper is engineered as part of a complete system that also optimizes the inner cable, outer casing, and brake pads. At approximately 136g including the brake pads, it combines world-class lightweight construction with strong braking performance and precise modulation.

EQUAL also features what GROWTAC describes as the world's first brake-feel adjustment system, allowing the braking response to be tuned to suit the rider's preference. Independent, continuously adjustable pad clearance on both sides makes detailed setup possible.

This special version applies KASHIMA COAT to the caliper body and sliding components. The hard-anodized surface treatment incorporates molybdenum disulfide for high wear resistance and lubricity, helping reduce sliding resistance and allowing grease-free operation. It is designed to maintain a consistent braking feel over extended use.

Suitable for road bikes, cyclocross, and gravel bikes, EQUAL retains the straightforward maintenance and serviceability of a mechanical system while delivering the braking performance and control required for demanding riding.
